INTUMESCENT CABLE TRAY PILLOW

DESCRIPTION
An intumescent compressible pillow for use with cable trays. In a fire, the pillow expands to fill the gap, thus stopping fire and smoke from penetrating to the other side of the opening.
USE
Where cable trays penetrate walls, floors, and ceilings, the pillow can be used to fill the opening. There is a tag and cord which can be pop rivetted to the tray to prevent loss, so that if the pillow is removed for maintenance, it can be easily refitted.
PERFORMANCE
Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 181 minutes. Also tested at VNE to European Standard EN1363-1 (2000).
