FB30 FIRE BARRIER CURTAIN

DESCRIPTION
The standard FB30 is a 1mm thick reinforced glass cloth impregnated with red Envirograf® intumescent coating, available 1220mm wide and any length. An acoustic protection version is also available 16½mm thick and 1220mm wide (FB30/AC).
USE
The curtain is used for fixing to timber or steel trusses, or between concrete soffits and suspended ceilings, etc. Overlap the joints by 50mm and fasten with the supplied Envirograf® adhesive. FB30 can have doors and openings fitted.
PERFORMANCE
This product has been subjected to a fire test in accordance with BS476 Part 22 (1987), achieving an integrity of 36 minutes. An indicative test showed 15 minutes insulation. Tested over Class 0 suspended ceiling horizontally, 22 minutes integrity and insulation to BS476 Part 22 (1987). In a fire at Peterborough Greyhound Stadium, the curtain saved half the stadium building in a fire that lasted for 6 hours.
